Fiona the Snail is a character created for Stacy’s first book “Let’s Count Bugs,” a counting and color recognition book focused on toddler learning skills. Now Fiona the Snail is grown up and starting kindergarten. This book will take you through the lessons and excitement of being an independent and creative “big kid” ready for the next adventure!
Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)
This early childhood education book is based on some of the guiding principles of 'The Responsive Classroom' approach, which believes that in order to be successful in and out of school, children need to learn a set of social and emotional competencies (cooperation, assertiveness, responsibility, empathy, and self-control), and a set of academic competencies (academic mindset, perseverance, learning strategies, and academic behaviors).
